Card Art Shapes and Papers Card 4

Description

A square pink card is decorated with patterned paper and funky flowers card shapes.

Materials used

• Bazzill Cardstock Monochromatic Pink Petalsoft (12 x 12 range).
• Card Art co-ordinated prints 3.
• Card Art Funky Flowers – printed card accessory pack.
• ’Happy Birthday’ self adhesive sticker.
• Card adhesive such as a glue stick

Method

Cut a strip of pink card to 144 mm x 288 mm (5 ½ x 11 inches). Fold this in half to form a square greetings card.

Cut a piece of multi-colour thin stripes decorative paper to 144 mm x 70 mm (5 ½ x 2 3/4 inches). Mount this on the left-hand front of the greetings card with card adhesive.

Add three multi-colour stripes funky flowers across the join between the decorative paper and the centre of the greetings card.

As an optional extra you can decorate the centre of the flower with dots saved from bits left over on a silver self-adhesive sticker. Or you can add miniature jewels for extra sparkle.

Add a ‘Happy Birthday’ self adhesive sticker in the bottom right-hand corner using the illustration as a guide.
