Coluzzle Rose Card

Description

A square white deckle edge card has a square design cut out using a Coluzzle template. The cut strips are folded across the card. A sheet of pink pearlescent craft paper shows through the slots. A silver rose sticker is put on card, coloured with pink and green pens, cut out and mounted on the greetings card.

Materials used

• White deckle edge greeting card 144mm x 144mm (5¾ ins x 5¾ ins)
• Pink pearlescent craft paper
• Coluzzle template 4002
• Coluzzle guarded swivel knife
• Coluzzle easy glide cutting mat
• Silver Peel Off sticker No 33 Large Roses
• White card
• Tombow brush pens in Pink and Green
• Double-sided self adhesive mini foam pads
• Small scissors
• Adhesive

Method

Open the greeting card and place it face up on your Coluzzle easy glide cutting mat. Position the clear plastic template on the front of the card and centralise it. Cut out half of the design using your Coluzzle guarded swivel knife.

Fold the cut design forward and to the right hand side. Fold flat and fix with a small dab of adhesive on the back centre of each strip.

Cut a square of pink pearlescent craft paper smaller than the greeting card and mount this on the inside of the front of the card so it shows through the cut strips.

Put the rose peel off on a piece of card. Colour it with pink and green Tombow brush pens. Cut around the design with scissors or a craft knife. Mount on the front of the card with double-sided self-adhesive mini foam pads using the illustration as a guide.
